1.AUS, Brisbane: Styling You
This popular site is the work of sunny Nikki Parkinson where she has set it up so that she can offer styling tips and assistance to everyday women. She offers a monthly outfit planner, an online styling program, an online support group, an eBook and regular competitions. All this to foster an online community network. She offers useful posts on comparing models and herself wearing the same dress in The Model and Me posts.

2. AUS, Sydney: Kimba likes
This savvy Sydney inner westie and ex-pat New Zealander blogs about beauty and fashion, offering a Wardrobe Wednesday link up page and a Smash the rules page with lots of fun and fabulous tips on how to do it differently. Stay tuned for her pop up shop.

3.AUS (living abroad): Michelle Tyler
Michelle Tyler’s site is an elegant and wise testimonial to curating a wardrobe for life – just like ladies used to do. She says no to fast fashion in the effort to minimise our environmental impact. She offers advice on how she does this through the purchase of quality items that are meant to last the distance. She also provides dedicated posts on menopause and makeup tutorials including vlogging.
To curate a thoughtful & cohesive wardrobe. Where their clothes, shoes & handbags are able to transcend any occasion or season. Considering where our clothes are made & saying no to fast fashion so we all tread a little lighter on the Earth. Michelle Tyler

This double-award-winning site is run by gorgeous Catherine Summers who is 45 years old and caters for the over forties market but which I take to also include the fifties market as she accepted my photos for her #iwillwearwhatilike campaign. This is a lovely campaign celebrating everyday women who debunk the ‘age appropriate’ myth.

5.USA, Florida: fashion on the 4th floor
Diane is a blogger, a fashion model and an athlete with a Masters Degree. This stunning 46 year old admits to an unfashionable start in life but this model butterfly shines in gorgeous clothes photographed in interesting backdrops by her photographer Nicole.

A blog about beauty, style, travel and lifestyle from a dedicated yogi and older fashionable mum. Forty-seven year old Janise also bravely talks about her IVF journey over 40 happily ending in the birth of her twins.

Much to be admired about Cathy who is a cancer survivor. She’s a style model for all mothers and grandmothers who like fashion and provides fabulous ‘chic at every age’ posts showing how the same item can be worn by different women. She also posts about making your home beautiful.

55-year-old Annette is truly a lady of style to emulate. Juggling her NATO job with being a mother of two adult children, she also finds time to post about style, travel and wellness. She believes in a timeless and ageless elegance without the need for artificial botox fillers. She also writes bilingually in English and German.
